Museum Director M. Zingeris and Oscar-winning director M. Hazanavicius
Oscar-winning director Michel Hazanavicius visited Vilnius during the first days of April. Despite the busy schedule as the guest director of the International Vilnius Film Festival „Kino pavasaris“ Hazanavicius stole a moment to visit the Tolerance Center of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum, where he met with director Markas Zingeris. Grandfather of Hazanavicius, Jewish from Lithuania, emigrated to France at the age of 14. French director is proud of his Litvak routes and hopes that one more new department of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum, the future Litvak Culture Center will open its doors soon.
