DELEGATION OF THE SOCIETY OF FRIENDS OF JEWISH MUSEUM IN FRANKFURT
 

The delegation of the Society of Friends of Jewish Museum in Frankfurt, headed by Prof. Salomon Korn - Chairman of the Jewish community of Frankfurt and Vicepresident of the Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland (the representation of the Jewish communities on state level), paid a visit to Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum on the 15 th and 16th of September, 2016. Litterateur former Secretary of State for Education Hartmut Holzapfel coordinated delegation’s visit in Lithuania. Dr. Mirjam Wenzel – newly appointed Head of the Frankfurt Jewish Museum, former Head of the Education department of the City of Frankfurt Jutta Ebeling as well as Andreas von Schoeler – former Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt also came as part of this delegation and visited The Tolerance Center, The Holocaust Exhibition and The Paneriai Memorial.

Director of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum Markas Zingeris and the Head of the Tolerance Center Ieva Šadzevičienė welcomed the delegation at the Tolerance Center. Museum specialist Mantas Šikšnianas presented the Holocaust Exhibition and Paneriai Memorial Museum.
