On January 17, a screening of the film “Litvaks in South Africa: the Snowball Rolled South” and a follow-up discussion were held in the Museum’s Tolerance Center.
The film was introduced to the public by its creative team: Ieva Balsiūnaitė, Jonas Jakūnas ir Sofija Korf. The screening was followed by a lively discussion, which included such participants as the head of the Lithuanian Jewish Students Union Amit Belaitė, historian Dr. Jurgita Verbickienė and art researcher Dr. Karina Simonson. It was professionally moderated by the host of Lithuanian National Television‘ Eglė Daugėlaitė.
