A FRIENDSHIP MEMORANDUM SIGNED WITH HOLOCAUST EDUCATION CENTER IN JAPAN

On April 16, a delegation from the Holocaust Education Center, located in Fukuyama (Japan), visited the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum. The delegation was headed by Center’s Deputy Director, Mr. Akio Yoshida, and accompanied by the Ambassador of Japan to Lithuania H.E. Toyoei Shigeeda. The Museum Director Markas Zingeris and Parliamentarian, Independence Act Signatory Emanuelis Zingeris greeted the guests. During a warm meeting, cooperation opportunities and intensifying bilateral relations between Lithuania and Japan were discussed and Memorandum of Friendship was signed.
