On Friday, 4 April, the Gaon Museum of Jewish History in Vilnius (Naugarduko str. 10) will host the international conference "Never Again: Preventing the Rise of Radicalism, Antisemitism, and Hate in Europe". The language of the event is English.
The conference aims to address the resurgence of antisemitism, radicalism, and anti-Jewish rhetoric across Europe, reinforcing Europe’s commitment to democratic values, human rights, and social cohesion. Taking place on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the event will examine the interplay between historical memory, contemporary extremism, and policy responses at the national and European levels.
