Executive Chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate Mr. Dani Dayan paid a special visit to the museum

Executive Chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate Mr. Dani Dayan accompanied by the delegation and the Ambassador of Israel Mrs. Hadas Wittenberg Silverste in paid a special visit to the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History. They've met with the Acting Director of the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History Ieva Šadzevičienė and the Head of the Holocaust exposition Renata Titovienė as well as MP Emanuelis Zingeris, the instigator of the establishment of the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History.

 

Yad Vashem delegation visited the Holocaust exposition and Samuel Bak museum, where delegates met with the Vice Minister of Education Ramūnas Skaudžius and the group of educators, cooperating with the International Commission for the Evaluation of the Crimes of the Nazi and Soviet Occupation Regimes in Lithuania.
