The concert "The Songs of Solomon of Mantua", performed by “Profeti della Quinta" Ensemble took place at Samuel Bak museum on 14th of July, 2021. Before the concert musicologist Dr. Aleksandra Pister, the researcher of early music, presented the peculiarities and identity dilemma of the situation of musicians of Jewish origin in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
The "Profeti della Quinta" Ensemble was founded by Elam Rotem, a harpsichord player, singer and composer, in Israel's Galilee region. Currently, the ensemble resides in Basel (Switzerland), where its members continued their studies at the early music academy Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
