How many branches make up the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History?
The museum consists of three active branches:
  • Samuel Bak Museum at Naugarduko St. 10;
  • Museum of Culture and Identity of Lithuanian Jews at Pylimo St. 4A;
  • Holocaust Exhibition and Paneriai Memorial at Pamėnkalnio St. 12 / Memorialo St. 15.
How much is the admission ticket? Does the price vary by branch?
The ticket price is the same regardless of the branch:
  • Adults – 6 euros
  • Schoolchildren, students, and pensioners under 80 years old – 3 euros
  • Family ticket (for up to two adults and up to four school-aged children for one branch) – 10 euros
Can the same ticket be used for all museum branches?
No, each branch requires a separate ticket.
However:
  • For 10 euros, you can purchase a personal ticket valid for 7 calendar days, allowing 1 adult to visit 3 museum branches once each.
  • For 15 euros, a family ticket valid for 7 calendar days allows up to two adults and up to four school-aged children to visit 3 museum branches once each.
What are the museum`s working hours?
  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Museum branches and exhibitions are closed on Lithuanian national holidays.
Is the museum open during Jewish religious holidays?
The Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History is a state museum under the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture. It is closed on Lithuanian public holidays.

How much does a guided tour cost?
  • A tour in the Samuel Bak Museum, the Museum of Culture and Identity of Lithuanian Jews (up to 30 people), or the Holocaust Exhibition (up to 25 people) in Lithuanian costs 20 euros plus admission.
  • The same tour in a foreign language costs 30 euros plus admission.
  • A tour at the Paneriai Memorial for groups of up to 30 people in either Lithuanian or a foreign language costs 30 euros.
What is the cost of educational activities?
  • Educational programs for adults cost 6 euros plus admission.
  • For schoolchildren, students, and pensioners under 80, educational activities cost 3 euros plus admission.
