| The Margol / Freedman Group of American Fund for Lithuanian – Latvian Jews, IMC, paid their yearly visit to the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum on the 23rd of July, 2015. Americans visited the Holocaust Exhibition, the Paneriai Memorial and the Tolerance Center, where they were welcomed by the Deputy Director of the Museum Kamilė Rupeikaitė. American Fund for Lithuanian and Latvian Jews group visited the temporary and the permanent expositions of the museum, paying the biggest attention to the art works and the life story of Samuel Bak. Vilna born Artist now lives in USA, Massachusetts, and the exhibition of his early childhood works from Vilnius Ghetto period as well as later lithography are on the display at the Tolerance Center. |
