LECTURE ABOUT SAMUEL BAK‘S ART HELD IN THE MUSEUM

On July 26, a lecture “Just Is in the Art of Samuel Bak” by Dr. Gary A. Phillips was held in the Museum‘s Tolerance Center in cooperation with Vilnius Yiddish Institute. Dr. Phillips, who is a Professor of Religion at Wabash College in Crawfordsville (Indiana, US), shared his insights about a series of paintings titled “Just Is” and discussed various symbols and images it contains with the audience. After the lecture, the participants were invited to visit Samuel Bak Museum.
