RAFAEL CHWOLES’ PORTRAITS EXHIBITION OPENED IN THE MUSEUM |

On February 27, the exhibition “Their Eyes Are On Us, We Too Are Looking at Them. Rafael Chwoles: Portraits of Vilnius Residents Between 1945-1959” was opened in the Tolerance Center of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum.
The audience was greeted by the Museum Director Markas Zingeris, Ambassador of France Philippe Jeantaud, Deputy Chancellor of Lithuania Deividas Matulionis, Member of Parliament Emanuelis Zingeris, head of museum’s Tolerance Center and curator of the exhibition Ieva Šadzevičienė as well as son of the R. Chwoles, Milij Chwoles. Lithuanian Minister of Culture Liana Ruokytė-Jonsson also attended the event.
The exhibition will remain open for public in the Museum’s Tolerance Center (Naugarduko St. 10/2, Vilnius) until August 31, 2018.
